i’m kati, OWNER OF THE SOCIAL RECO, DISCO EXTRAORDINAIRE AND YOUR NEW SOCIAL MEDIA BFF.
Tbh, the love affair of branding and marketing started at a young age for me. Both my parents were in sales, so it’s no surprise that I’ve always looooved telling stories and I truly was born with the gift of gab (just ask every cashier at my local grocery store). I studied PR and Marketing in college and each professional role I’ve had since, I absorbed the responsibility of managing social media accounts and branding. Telling a brand’s story fuels me with so much passion that I took the leap, left my corporate job, and focused on telling brand stories online full time.

Right now my clientele is filled with lifestyle influencers, small business owners and social climbers. With every client I work with, there’s a common theme: They know why social media and their branding image is important, but creating that presence is too time consuming and overwhelming to manage. My mission is to continue growing The Social Reco so I can help female owned businesses thrive in the social media space!
I’m a little different than other brand or social media managers and you’ll pick up on that quickly! I’m fun, laid back and don’t let challenges keep me down. My priority will always be teaching and showing you to have fun with your brand again! Let’s be silly sometimes, let’s keep it real all the time, and let’s have a damn good time working together.

MEET THE TEAM
i’m olivia, ASSOCIATE SOCIAL MEDIA GURU AND COPYWRITING ENTHUSIAST.
As a 2020 college graduate and Gen Z-er, the social media world grew up with me! I mean let’s be honest, the first iPhone came out when I was 9 years old and I had my first social media account in middle school (no need to dig to find awkward middle school photos). I graduated from school with a degree in PR with a minor in Event Planning. Growing up and now, I have always loved attending events, celebrations, and exploring new places, and restaurants, followed by documenting my experience through social media!
Joining The Social Reco means that my working style is a lot like Kati! I’m laid back, extremely flexible, but love a good challenge (and a good cocktail)! Although I love having a wonderful time, no need to worry, you and your brand is my top priority. I can’t wait to chat over a (virtual) coffee date with you and help you have fun and succeed!

i’m hailey, VIDEO CONTENT CREATOR AND TREND SETTER.
If I’m being honest, I owe all of my creativity and drive to my mom. Both my parents are entrepreneurs and have never worked a “9 to 5” so, it only makes sense I connect with people all over the internet for a living! From my duct tape purse days (yeah I made it on the news at age 11), to studying creative advertising at Indiana University I lowkey knew creating is where I’d end up.
My screen time is… not great. BUT- it only makes sense I love videos, content creation and TikTok so much! And yeah, I know a TikTok dance or 20. My most used apps are TikTok, Splice and Canva. My working style is pretty unconventional because I believe you cannot push creativity. There are some days I sit at my computer with no ideas and wake up at 4 AM to find myself writing paragraphs in my notes app with a million different ideas. I just let the creativity flow when it needs to!

i’m karla, PHOTOGRAPHER AND CONTENT CREATOR
I am so excited to share a little about myself with you guys. My name is Karla and I have been a creative brain since childhood and love everything art. I have always been a photo kid since I can remember. My dad had a dark room in our NY apartment when I was 4-5 yrs old and I would help him develop his photographs, then in college, I began my career as a film photographer. I loved film photography but eventually switched to digital photography and have loved it ever since.
I work freelance gigs in Austin, TX as a photographer, content creator, and food photographer. If you check out my personal Insta you will see my LOVE for food and travel. I can do a little bit of everything but 2022 has pushed me to focus on branding photography and I am stoked to be a part of The Social Reco’s fabulous team.
My husband, Andy, has been the biggest support these last few years. He is always encouraging me to push forward and to keep building my business. I am a fur mom to Foxie and Chewie, and stepmom to my husband’s beautiful daughters.
